Asphalt Shingles

Due to low cost and durability, about 80% of the homes in the US have asphalt shingles on their roofs. While different factors affect the longevity of a shingle roof, in our area, most roofs last between 15-20 years. Wind, hail, and extreme weather conditions are the primary reasons why asphalt shingles get replaced sooner than their life expectancy.

Not sure if you need a new roof? Let us help. When you call Roofing On Demand, we will come out to do a complete roof and attic inspection. A member of our team will point out any problematic areas and suggest solutions to get your roof up to par. As we all know it, the roof is everything.

SUCCESS IS IN THE DETAILS – SHINGLE ROOF REPLACEMENT PROCESS

Tear Off - Our crews will carefully prep your home for your roof tear off. We strategically place tarps to protect windows, doors, shrubs, pool and patio areas to collect all the debris and make the final clean up easier. We will sweep the area with magnets to make sure we collect as many nails as possible. We do not shingle over current shingles. Our crews will tear off your old roofing shingles and old 15lb tar underlayment. After tear off is completed, we will inspect your substrate/decking for rotted wood and replace any damaged decking boards. All debris will be hauled away to the local landfill.

Decking Repairs - After decking is fully inspected, our Project Managers will communicate with you about any hidden damages and additional unexpected repairs. We can do Rafter Repairs, partial plywood repairs or complete roof substrate replacements (Re-decks) while replacing your roof. Our crews will also reenforce your roof substrate if need be. We pay close attention to details and rest assure we will only install your new roof on a solid framing and decking system.
